The Hamilton provides a flexible venue with three rooms available to hire for a wide range of events and functions such as:
- Funeral Wakes
- Christmas Parties
- Other Social Functions
- Club Meetings/AGM’s
- Fund Raising Events
- Corporate Meetings
- Training Courses
Room hire and cost
We have three rooms available to hire for a nominal fee of £25 per room (this includes members).
- The Function Room holds up to 100 people and is mostly used for events with Disco’s and Live Entertainment.
- The Lounge Bar will hold another 50 people in comfortable surroundings and large events may often use both the Function Room and the Lounge Bar as they can be connected.
- The Members Bar is suitable for about 30 people and is occasionally used for small reunions and Club Meetings.
To check room availability for your event, please see the online four month diary, however, we are of course taking bookings far beyond this point.
- We will only ever hire out two rooms at any one time as we must provide for our Members who have access to the Club facilities at any time.
- If the Function Room and Lounge Bar are booked for an event, the Members Bar will be exclusively for Members Only
If you would like any help with finding a band, disco, or other entertainment, we have plenty of contacts and we can help tailor a package to meet your requirements.
We have a Buffet Menu available and can arrange BBQ’s, Pig Roasts, or for outside caterers to provide the appropriate choice of food for your event. If you prefer, you can supply your own buffet with the agreement of the Club Manager, Helen Skerritt.
The Hamilton is a single storey building with good wheelchair access from the car parks. Our toilets (male and female) both have disabled cubicles.
